How Speaker ID Works
Bloks uses on-screen character recognition (OCR) to capture and interpret speaker display names from services like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet. Here's how it functions:
When a display name appears during a conversation, Bloks identifies and associates it with the speaker’s voice.
Once recognized, this identification is applied consistently throughout the conversation.
If display names are not shown, speaker attribution given a generic speaker label—but you’ll still be able to manually manage it.
Managing Speaker Labels
If a speaker isn’t identified correctly, or if names are missing, you can easily edit or assign speaker names directly from the transcript view.
To do this:
Open the conversation transcript.
Click on any speaker label.
Edit the name or merge speaker identities to correct inconsistencies.
