🚀 Getting Started with Bloks Autopilot

Designed to work seamlessly across virtual and in-person meetings

Updated over 2 months ago

Bloks Autopilot is your AI-powered note-taking assistant designed to work seamlessly across virtual and in-person meetings—without ever joining your calls. Here's everything you need to know about your first experience with Autopilot.

✨ What Makes Autopilot Unique?

Unlike traditional bots that join your meeting, Bloks Autopilot works out-of-band—meaning it doesn't appear as a participant. Instead, it intelligently captures microphone and speaker audio directly from your device to produce a rich transcript and summary.

It supports meetings across:

  • Google Meet

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Zoom

  • Slack

  • And in-person conversations

📅 Smart Calendar Integration

When a conversation happens during a scheduled calendar event, Autopilot:

  • Automatically associates it with the event

  • Tags attendees and companies

  • Helps keep your records self-organized and easy to find later

If there’s no event, Bloks creates an ad hoc capture—still neatly slotted into your daily timeline.

⚙️ Automatic Start and Stop

Autopilot is designed to be hands-free:

  • It detects when you're in a supported meeting and starts capturing automatically

  • You'll see the Autopilot minibar appear to confirm it's running

  • No bots join the call—everything happens silently in the background

To stop capturing:

  • Simply hang up your call, or

  • Tap the Stop button on the minibar

For in-person conversations or manual notes:

  • Tap the red microphone in the Bloks app to start recording

  • Tap again to stop

📝 What You’ll Get After the Meeting

Once a session ends, Bloks presents:

  • An conversation summary based on the best matched template

  • Any manual notes or highlights you captured during the meeting

  • A full transcript, including full or sub-section audio playback

  • All fully shareable with anyone (no need to be a Bloks user) after the meeting

🎛️ Customize Your Summaries

By default, summaries are grouped by topics discussed—but you're in control. You can:

  • Edit summaries directly

  • Create custom summary templates

  • Tailor summaries to match your workflow and audience

  • Supliment the summary generation with your own manual notes and highlights

💡 Tip: Future lessons will walk you through summary customization and deeper workflows—this is just the beginning.
