Auto-tagging Summaries to Meetings in Bloks

Automatically associating captured meetings with the right context

Updated over a month ago

Auto tagging is a feature of Bloks Autopilot that helps you effortlessly keep your conversations organized by automatically associating captured meetings with the right context.

How Auto Tagging Works

When Bloks Autopilot begins capturing a conversation, it checks your calendar for any overlapping events. If there’s a match, it automatically tags the capture to that calendar event.

This includes:

  • Attendee info (people in the meeting)

  • Company associations

  • Optional manual tags or labels with hashtags

The goal is to streamline your workflow by reducing the need to manually sort or organize each conversation.

Meeting Assignment from the Mini-bar

When Autopilot starts, the mini-bar appears on your screen to show that Bloks is capturing the conversation. At that moment, it also displays the calendar event that the meeting will be tagged to.

If there are multiple overlapping events, you'll be prompted to choose the correct one before the capture proceeds. This ensures accurate tagging and context from the start.

Can I Make Edits?

Absolutely. You have full control to:

  • Update the people or companies tagged (add or remove)

  • Include or remove hashtags or manual labels

  • Reassign the conversation to a different calendar event

  • Convert the capture into an ad hoc meeting if it wasn’t related to an event at all

Why It Matters

Auto tagging gives you:

  • Smarter organization without extra effort

  • Better search and filtering later when using company and people pages

  • Context-rich notes tied to actual meetings and participants

If something doesn’t look right, just jump into the conversation view to adjust the tags—it’s quick and flexible.
