Bloks automatically tries to assign each summary to the correct calendar event by detecting when the conversation took place and matching it to your schedule. In most cases, this happens seamlessly. But if something ends up linked to the wrong meeting—or isn’t assigned at all—you can easily update it.
Reassigning a Summary to a Different Event
If your summary is assigned to the wrong calendar event:
Open the Summary
Navigate to the summary in Bloks you want to reassign.Open the Overflow Menu
Click the three-dot (⋮) menu in the top-right corner of the summary.Select "Assign to Meeting"
This will open a searchable list of your calendar events.Choose the Correct Event
Events are organized with the most time-adjacent ones shown first (those closest in time to when the conversation occurred).
You can also search for a specific event by name.
Assign as an Ad Hoc Summary
If the conversation doesn't need to be tied to a meeting at all:
In the same "Assign to Meeting" menu, choose the option to not associate it with any calendar event.
This will treat the summary as ad hoc and list it chronologically among your other captures.
Best Practices
Reassign summaries soon after capture to ensure accuracy.
Use ad hoc tagging for impromptu calls or in-person discussions not listed on your calendar.
By keeping your summaries linked to the right events, Bloks helps you stay organized, searchable, and context-aware across your entire meeting history.
